Inspired by Henry Doubleday of Epping's natural history collections, Year 4 pupils created collections of shapes. Initially they made shapes from a sheet of A4 paper, and then use these shapes to create small abstract sculptures, they then made shapes from strips of paper, joining them together to make 3d drawings.
This programme of public projects seeks to enhance the character of Wood Street, Walthamstow: restoring heritage buildings, providing new planting, signage, street furniture and shop frontages, and commissioning a number of art projects connecting and animating diverse spaces and communities. The programme is supported by London Borough of Waltham Forest and the Mayor's Outer London Fund, which is helping increase the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London.
