Inspired by Henry Doubleday of Epping's natural history collections, Year 4 pupils created their own collections of objects found within the playground - they each observed, drew, cut out and pinned their object to a board, echoing the way butterfly collections are displayed.
This programme of public projects seeks to enhance the character of Wood Street, Walthamstow: restoring heritage buildings, providing new planting, signage, street furniture and shop frontages, and commissioning a number of art projects connecting and animating diverse spaces and communities. The programme is supported by London Borough of Waltham Forest and the Mayor's Outer London Fund, which is helping increase the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London.
