There are street scenes with people and paint spills, familiar buildings and new buildings, family cars and fantastical transport inventions.
We are working out how to best fill our book with all the pictures of delicious dinners, favorite games, pictures of home and enchanting imagined landscapes. We have loveable rogues, heroes and heroines, swinging monkeys, singing cats, lots of weather, and towering cakes.

In all she has counted over 250 images.
She has been brushing up on her bookmaking techniques with Matt Mackenzie, printmaker and bookbinder at Paekakariki Press, to find the best way to secure all the pictures in the When Wood Street Draws book.
When it has all been assembled, the When Wood Street Draws book will be available to look through at Wood Street Library.
