WOOD STREET INSIDE OUT

This programme of public projects seeks to enhance the character of Wood Street, Walthamstow: restoring heritage buildings, providing new planting, signage, street furniture and shop frontages, and commissioning a number of art projects connecting and animating diverse spaces and communities. The programme is supported by London Borough of Waltham Forest and the Mayor's Outer London Fund, which is helping increase the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London.

WOOD STREET Survey of Retail Trade, An Artist's View conceived by artist Verity Jane Keefe during her making of the short film A QUEST FOR BRONZE TANNING, and 3 editions of a fanzine for Wood Street. The artwork has been beautifully painted by expert sign writer John Singh.
