WOOD STREET INSIDE OUT
WOOD STREET INSIDE OUT is a programme of public projects for Wood Street, Walthamstow, delivered by a creative team led by East Architecture. The programme includes improvements to buildings and signage, new pop-up shops and art projects connecting and animating diverse spaces and communities. The art projects offer opportunities for local people to collaborate with artists, designers and makers to explore themes such as identity and association, and, in doing so, bring new life to Wood Street.

FANTASTIC PANORAMIC
Vic Lee's playful portrait of Wood Street - TALL TALES has taken up residence on the temporary hoardings extending from Wood
Street Library to Woodside Primary School.
The intricate work is inspired by stories about the neighbourhood revealed in conversation
with local people. Selected tales are embellished
with a sassy twist, but some facts are stranger than fiction! Vic has woven
together wild urban myths, epic truths and everyday local experiences into a
fantastic panorama.
