This programme of public projects seeks to enhance the character of Wood Street, Walthamstow: restoring heritage buildings, providing new planting, signage, street furniture and shop frontages, and commissioning a number of art projects connecting and animating diverse spaces and communities.
The programme is supported by London Borough of Waltham Forest and the Mayor's Outer London Fund, which is helping increase the vibrancy and growth of high street places across London.
We have been inundated with almost 100 excellent submissions for SHOPPORTUNITY! A list of appointed artists and designers and their Wood Street partners will be posted very soon.
