So heres a wee taster - work in progress.
Every now and again I see hoardings everywhere now and try and work out the size, and then I feel the pressure! Ha - its going to be an experience thats for sure - First parts are in the making - needs LOTS of info from the good folk of E17,
A - because I want some great stories to include
B - Because I am generally a bit nosey and love gossip - Ha who doesnt!

A big up to E17 and especially Wood Street - I hope I do you proud!

We're in!

Emily and I are the two artists working on a Wood Street Picture Palace.  We have our key to number 6 in the Wood Street Indoor Market, yesterday we made signs and plans.  Emily will be in tomorrow. Please come and say hello.

WHAT IS WOOD STREET INSIDE OUT?

WOOD STREET INSIDE OUT is a programme of public projects for Wood Street, Walthamstow, delivered by a creative team led by East Architecture. The programme includes improvements to buildings and signage, new pop-up shops and art projects connecting and animating diverse spaces and communities. The art projects offer opportunities for local people to collaborate with artists, designers and makers to explore themes such as identity and association, and, in doing so, bring new life to Wood Street.

From January - March 2012, the programme offers opportunities for you to get involved with three fantastic projects: WOOD STREET PICTURE PALACE with artists and animators Emily Tracy and Lizzy Hobbs, TALL TALES with artist and storyteller Vic Lee, and WHEN WOOD STREET DRAWS with artist Della Rees and local art collective Artillery.
